The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for this job role will:
- Be well organised, proactive and have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Be customer focused, being part of our team who thrive on customer satisfaction
- Have excellent communication skills with the supply chain and internal departments
- Have good understanding of Microsoft Excel including the use of basic formulas and IT proficient
- Have a level of education equivalent to A-Levels, or higher
Your New Role
As an experienced Quality Engineer or Manufacturing Engineer, you will be dealing directly with internal and external stakeholders to drive continual improvement, investigate non conformance and monitor KPI’s in all areas of the business.
What you’ll be doing
In order to achieve business and personal objectives you will be:
- Compiling and reviewing FAIR’s (including the use of net-inspect)
- Carrying out containment activity.
- Raise, review and submit PPAP’s to various customer requirements.
- Perform internal and external audits, as well as host audits from customers and third party organisations.
- Control and maintain required standards, data cards and manufacturing sequences.
- Manage Key Performance Indicators.
You will have the following skills
You will have a good understanding of the following:
- APQP
- PPAP
- PFMEA, control plans
- MSA
- RCCA (8D, 3C, PIR)
- FAIR’s
- AS9100
- Proficient in Microsoft software
- Internal auditor qualification
- Confident dealing with customers at all levels.
