His thesis focused on optimising vacuum brazing techniques for superalloys assemblies. MJ Sections have invested considerable effort into creating complexed fabricated assemblies from sheet material as a direct replacement for the forged CNC machined components. This offers a dramatic cost saving and reduction in long lead times by using sheet material instead of forgings.
His academic journey will continue in September as he has secured a place on the Advanced Material course, through Cranfield University.
